Dear family,
Please accept my condolences regarding the passing of your loved one. The pain that results from the death of a loved one can be intense and unbearable. However, I want you to know that our Heavenly Father, Jehovah, understands your sorrow and that I certainly have heartfelt empathy for you and yours. Right now, I know your spirits are low because of this difficult time. However, take heart! In God’s Word, the Bible (Acts 24:15), He assures us that ALL of our loved ones, who are now sleeping in death, will be resurrected in the future. God’s Word NEVER FAILS! This is wonderful NEWS…news of which I hope will lessen some of the grief that you are feeling right now.

Mrs. Janice was known as Ma to me. She was very much a second mother to me. I'll miss her hugs and laugh. She always got a kick out of the time when I was about 12 I rode my bike from in town to her house and walked in announcing "I'm home!" She had to call my mom to tell her where I was. She always told that story whenever she introduced me to someone new. I know Ernie is smiling in heaven now that he's reunited with his love. You are both missed dearly. My prayers and heart are with you Clayton and Kane.

I'm so sorry for your loss. May your family find a measure of comfort and peace in God's promise to swallow up death forever and bring our dear loved ones back to life in a beautiful paradise on earth. May the precious memories you have of Janice sustain you until you see her again. (Isaiah 25:8; Acts 24:15; Psalm 37:29) jw.org
