Condolence: Connie and family, I first met Tom almost 25 years ago, he was a person that I looked up to, as a very close friend. He was always one who would look at things from the positive side and how he could help other people through his own deeds. From when we first met, ever time that I would come to Statesboro for work or to visit, your home was always open to me to come and stay, visit, and talk about family, farming, and work.
During each visit we would make sure we went to the farm, drove around, checked wells, irrigators, looked at the corn, peanut crops,as well as looking for "alligators in the pond". When we were working together and the task was accomplished successfully, he had a special saying that I will never forget "Oorah" this was Tom to me.
We will miss him. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Condolence: Connie and family. I first met Tom in 1991. He was an inspiration to many people through his hard work and "outside the box" thinking. Tom looked at life as a glass half full and he was going to fill it the rest of the way. No hill was ever to high for him to climb. The world is a better place because Tom walked on it and helped other people grow. We will miss him. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you an your family.
