The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Lewellyn Porter can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Our Aunt Lew, as we called her, was a very unique and special person with a strong personality. All of us Hurt grandchildren/great-grandchildren loved her and looked on her as a second mother to all of us. In return, she loved us as if we belong to her and she would put up a fight if any of us were mistreated in any way. She was a hard worker and had a strong spiritual faith. I feel sure she is at peace and resting in our Lords arms right now. She was a huge influence in my up bringing as a child and I will greatly miss her. Love you Aunt Lew, Janice Holloway
