Mrs. Smith died early Sunday morning, Oct. 23, 2011 at Crisp Regional Hospital. She was a native of Cordele, Ga. and the daughter of the late Charles Seaborn and Susye Belle Ingram Hardin. She was the widow of Rueben Earl Smith.

She worked for Strickland Motors for 10 years and then as office manager for Cordele Marble Company for almost 45 years. She was a member of High Hill Baptist Church.

She is survived by her sons: David T. Smith and his wife Cindy of Cordele, Seaborn Smith of Cordele, Michael Smith of Warwick, and Terry Smith and his wife Vickie of Zebulon, Ga.; her brothers: Jackie Hardin and his wife Ann of Warwick, and Thad Hardin and his wife Iris of Salem, Fla.; her brother-in-law: Bill ""Quida"" Smith of Ashburn, Ga.; her grandchildren: Tyler Smith, Kayce Smith, Samantha Smith, Nikki Smith, Taylor Smith and Heather Smith; and her great-grandchildren: Adyen Smith and Kobe Iverson.
