James Carl Wade, 87, died Wednesday morning, April 6, 2016 at his residence. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, April 8, 2016 at the Warwick United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the graveside beginning at 1 p.m., Friday, April 8, 2016 until the hour of the service.

Mr. Wade born in Warwick, Ga. to the late Havard Wade and the late Florrie Odom Wade. He is the widower of Caroline Eugenia Mays Wade.

He was a United States Army veteran of the Korean War. He retired from Albany Firestone Plant as security guard. A member of the Warwick First Baptist Church, he was also a former member of the Warwick Lions Club.

He is survived by his children: Greg (Jenni) Wade of Leesburg, Ga. and Rita (Bob) Varner of Cordele; his brothers Joe Wade of Peachtree City, Ga. and Randy Wade of Warwick; his grandchildren: Holly Turton, Meagan Jacups, Nikki Brewer, Robin Kaiser, Whitney Miller, Paige Benton, Carson Wade and Mason Wade; and six great-grandchildren.
