Obituary for Owen Bagwell
Owen Bagwell, 81, died Thursday, July 5, 2018, at Navicent Health Center in Macon, Ga. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m., Sunday, July 8, 2018, in the chapel of Hughes & Wright Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Sunnyside Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until time of the service.
Mr. Bagwell was born in Cordele, Ga. to the late John Lee Bagwell and the late Magalene Roberts Bagwell. He was preceded in death by his son, Allen Bagwell.
He was a dedicated Christian and member of Hatley Baptist Church where he also served as a deacon. Mr. Bagwell was a dedicated farmer and a member of Farm Bureau, and most of all he loved his family.
Mr. Owen is survived by his wife: Sally Ann Bagwell of Cordele; his daughters: Sheila (Sam) Crenshaw and Lorie (Jeff) Presley both of Cordele; his sister: Frances Greene of Cordele; his grandchildren: Jeremy (Kelly) Crenshaw, Clint (Amber) Crenshaw, Grant Pheil and Dallas Pheil; and his great-grandchildren: Tristan Crenshaw, Landon Crenshaw and Creed Crenshaw.
