Obituary for George Elbert Smith
George Elbert Smith, 81, died Saturday, April 14, 2018 at Navicent Health in Macon, Ga. Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, April 20, 2018 at Union Baptist Church Cemetery in Pitts, Ga.
Mr. Smith was a native of Folkston Ga., and the son of the late George Houston Smith and the late Bessie Lane Smith. He was preceded in death by his wife Lola Mae McGinnis Smith. He was a retired custodian and a member of the Penia Baptist Church.
Mr. Smith is survived by his brother: Clifford Smith of Cordele, Ga. and a sister: Bernice Smith of FL.
