Funeral services for James H. Mann will be held Monday, November 13, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Hughes & Wright Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Sunday, November 12, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.


James was a native of Cordele, Ga. and lived most of his life in Warwick, Ga. He was retired from Crisp County Power Commission as chief operator of the steam plant. He was the son of the late Paul Gideon Mann and the late Winnie Kate Mathis. Mr. James was preceded in death by his brothers Horace Mann and Frank Mann. He was a member of the Freewill Baptist Church.

James is survived by his wife Susie Bodrey Mann of Warwick, Ga., sons: Johnny Lee Mann and his wife Patricia of Cordele, Ga., and James Michael Mann and his wife Teresa of Black Top Mountain, Ark. and five grandchildren.
