Funeral services for Ruthie “Jane” Britt, 78, will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, June 25, 2018 at Third Street Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Sunnyside Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m., Sunday, June 24, 2018.

Jane went home to be with her Lord Wednesday night, June 20, 2018. She is the widow of Oscar Bobby Britt. She was born in Cordele to Fletcher Crawford Bolton and Pearl Agnes Holcombe Bolton. She is preceded in death by a son, Keith Britt, and her siblings, Reuben Samuel Bolton and Mary Nell Hodge.

She was first and foremost a homemaker and member of Third Street Baptist Church. Her family and faith were very dear to her. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. She was known as an excellent cook with a generous heart. She enjoyed crafts and was an avid reader and superior angler. She never judged anyone and saw the best in everyone. She was devoted to her church family and known for her endless faith. She was also a former co-owner of the Clock Factory Outlet.

She is survived by her children: Donna (Mark) Dunn of Mobile Ala., Jeff (Cindy) Britt of Arabi and Danny Britt of Cordele; her sister: Lorraine Williams of Cordele; her grandchildren: Nikki Dellinger, Jason Bolton Britt, Chelsea Morrow, Sam Britt, Levi Britt, Bradley Page, Kary Anna Palmer, Kenzlie Knapp, Janie Britt, Tasha Oglesby and Andrew Paul Abney; and 17 great-grandchildren.
