Obituary for Leonard Hinze Mason
Leonard Hinze Mason, 72, died early Monday morning, April 9, 2018, at Navicent Health in Macon, Ga. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m., Saturday, April 14, 2018 at the chapel of Hughes & Wright Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Walnut Cemetery in Unadilla, Ga. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 2 p.m.
Leonard was born in Vienna, Georgia to John W. Mason and Mattie Lou Thompson Mason. He was the water treatment plant operator for the City of Cordele. He was a lifetime resident of Dooly and Crisp Counties. He was a member of Warwick Baptist Church and an avid hunter and fisherman.
Leonard is survived by wife: Iris Mason of Cordele; his daughter and son-in-law: Lisa and Jody McCoy of Cordele; his siblings: Paul Spradley of Tennesse, Betty Jean Myers of Pensacola, Fla. and Sandra Walton of Cordele; and his grandchildren: Gavin McCoy, Mason McCoy and Lauren McCoy all of Cordele.
