– Funeral services for Louise Brantley Davis, 68, will be held at 4 p.m., Friday, March 30, 2018 in the chapel of Hughes & Wright Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Sunnyside Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., Thursday, March 29, 2018.

Louise died at her residence Tuesday, March 27, 2018. She was born in Vienna, Ga. to the late James Hudson Brantley and the late Dorothy Cleo Arrighi Brantley. She was a homemaker and loved Western movies.

She is survived by her husband: James Maxwell Davis of Cordele; her daughters: April (Shane) Broxton of Cordele, Sonia Cagle of Carrolton, Ga. and Tammy Spires of Macon; her sons: James Thomas of Rebecca, Ga., Justin (Leslie) Thomas of Forsyth, Ga. and Calvin Thomas of Moreland, Ga.; her brothers: James Edward Brantley of Douglas, Ga. and James Edgar Brantley of Americus, Ga.; her sisters: Loretta Taylor of Ellaville, Ga. and Delita Grimsley of Byron, Ga.; 10 grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
