CORDELE – Memorial services for Quentin Aubrey Smith, 78, will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, October 14, 2017 in the chapel of Hughes & Wright Funeral Home. Sonny Burt and Mr. Smith’s son, Tucker, will officiate the service.

Quentin Aubrey Smith died at his residence in Crisp County, Georgia. He was born in Mount Pleasant, Penn. to Paul Smith and Evelyn Hower Smith. He is preceded in death by his son, Randy Allen Smith.

He was a manager for Reynolds Aluminum in Florida for 20 years and also for 20 years at Miller Brewery. He was of the Methodist faith. Quentin served his country gallantly as a United States Marine for six years.

He is survived by his wife: Lucille June Smith of Cordele; his son: Tucker Aubrey Smith of Cordele; his siblings: Albert Smith, Elbert Smith, Wayne Smith, Glenda Hodge and Sandra Davis all of Penn; and three grandchildren: Nicholas, Lindsay and Caitlyn.
