Lummie Gleaton  Moore
Lummie Gleaton Moore, 84, died Sunday, August 20, 2017, at his residence. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Rocky Mount Baptist Church in Turner County. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow in the Zion Hope Cemetery Annex.

Lummie was born in Turner County, Ga. to Henry Felton Moore and Eunice Edna Gleaton Moore. He was retired from Sears as a department manager. He also answered the call of his country by serving in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. He was a member of Rocky Mount Baptist Church.

He is preceded in death by his siblings: B. O. Moore, Lydia Moore Shivers, Wynell Moore Hall, Cleyone Moore Hall, Hershel Foster Moore and Laverne Moore McClenny. He is survived by several nieces and nephews.
