Obituary for Andrew Martin
CORDELE — Funeral services for Andrew Martin will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, August 8, 2017 in the chapel of Hughes & Wright Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Arabi Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday beginning at 10 a.m. until the hour of the funeral.
Andrew was born in Cordele, Ga. and was the son to the late George Bailey, Sr. and the late JoAnn Carpenter Bailey. He was a general Contractor for Investors Management Company. He was a member of Free Life Church of Cordele. He was a member of the Free Life Church Deer Hunting Club. He also enjoyed fishing, Georgia Bulldogs and the Crisp County Cougars.
Andrew is survived by his wife: Dawn Rene Martin of Ashburn, Ga.; daughter: JoAnn Martin of Ashburn, Ga.; brothers: Jackie Martin of Panama City Beach, Fl. and George Bailey Jr. and his wife Tonya of Oceanside, CA.; sister: Terresa Ponder and her husband Roy of Sumterville, Fl. and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in memory of Andrew to Free Life Church of Cordele, 1211 Pecan St., Cordele, Ga.
