Tommy Lee West
Tommy Lee West, 81, died Sunday morning, Feb.12, 2017 at Crisp Regional Hospital. Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2017 in the chapel of Hughes & Wright Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the funeral beginning at 1 p.m.

Mr. West was born in Worth County, Ga. to the late Thomas J. West and the late Lola Evelyn Pitts West. He is also preceded in death by the mother of his children: Abbie Conner West, and his brothers: Jim West, Wendol West and Benny West. He was a detective for the Cordele Police Department. He had retired after 33 years of service in law enforcement.

He is survived by his wife: Ellen West of Cordele, his sons: Jeff West of Vienna and Tony West of Cordele; his grandchildren: Justin West, Amber Banda and Ashley Gibbs; and his great-grandchildren: Abbie West, Ellie West, JamieMae Burnette, Lily Banda, Nova Banda and Jayda Gibbs.
