Obituary for Mary Dent Wright
Graveside services for Mary Alice Dent Wright will be held at 10 a.m Monday August 15, 2016 at Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Cordele, GA. The family will receive friends Sunday August 14, 2016 from 4:00 p.m until 6:00 p.m. at Hughes & Wright Funeral Home.
Mrs. Wright passed away Saturday August 13, 2016 at Saint Mary's Hospice House in Athens, Ga. She was born July 11, 1936 in Taylor County, Ga. She was the daughter of the late Mack Dent and Agnes Hatchett Dent. She was preceded in death by her brothers Jack, John, George and Mack Dent, her sisters Audrey Taunton and Tot Sewell and her grandson John E. Robinson.
A loving wife to Daniel O. Wright, Jr. Mrs. Wright is survived by her children: Melanie (Eddie) Robinson of Hull, GA., Daniel B. (Jackie) Wright of Moultrie, GA., and William D. (Rosemarie) Wright of Watkinsville, GA.; sisters: Kate Woodard of Reynolds, Ga and Joyce Moore of Vienna, Ga., her grandchildren: Miranda K. Hart of Winder, GA, Daniel B. Wright II of Blairsville, GA., Allison N. Risner of Chesapeake, VA., David Wright II of Winterville, GA., and Stephen C. Wright of Cordele, GA.; and her great-grandchildren; Luke Hart, Taylor Risner, Ashlyn Robinson, Grace Wright, Colton Risner, Johnathan Wright, Hope Wright and Jakin Wright.
