CORDELE – Memorial services for Suzanne Mary Stevenson, 80, will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, Feb. 19, 2021 at First Baptist Church in Cordele, Ga. A visitation will be held prior to the service beginning at 1 p.m. She passed away Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at Fellowship Home at Cordelia Manor. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, seating is limited, masks are required, social distancing should be maintained.

Mrs. Stevenson was born in Cambridge, Mass. to the late Frank Tompkinson and Helen Foote Tompkinson. She is preceded in death by her husband, Clarence “CW” Willard Stevenson, and her son, Robert Strong, Jr. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Cordele, Ga. and the Pioneer Sunday School class

She is survived by her daughters: Vicki (Jim) Leab and Jennifer (Jason) Richardson both of Cordele, Ga. and Jeannie Wright Cottle of Louisville, Ky.; her grandchildren: Alixx (Hunter) Little, Christopher (Blake) McGinnis, Kailee Brooke Richardson, and Jason Kerry Richardson all of Cordele, Ga., Michaela Cottle of Louisville, Ky, and Steven Cottle of Alaska; her great-grandchildren: Amelia Harper Danley and Dalton Stallone Little; and her sister-in-love: Tam Roberts of Arlington, VA. The family would also like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Fellowship Home at Cordelia Manor, Reflections Hospice and a special thanks to her hospice nurse, Ginny Tejada.
