CORDELE — Sue Carlton Yawn, 85, of Cordele died Monday, July 20, 2020, at Crisp Regional Hospital. Private services will be held in Snellville, Ga.
She was preceded in death by her parents Thomas Leroy and Bessie Irene Carlton; brother Mike Carlton; sister Kaye Carlton; son Gerald Hawkins; daughters Deborah Barron and Judy Piotrowski.
Survivors include her husband James Donald Yawn; daughter Lisa (Mike) Moore; son Greg (Sharon) Hawkins; daughter-in-law Nikki Hawkins; son-in-law Jerry Barron; grandsons Jason (Christy) Hawkins, Adam (Kerri) Hawkins, Brandon Barber, Ryan Moore, Austin (Emily) Moore, Chris (Leatha) Camp, Dustin Camp; great-grandson Brodie, Colt, Wyatt, Kody, Jackson Hawkins, Ryan Chandler Camp; great-granddaughters Mary Grace, Lily, Lucy Moore; great-great-granddaughter Oktober Camp; brothers Thomas L. Jr and David (Gina) Carlton and many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Yawn was born in Oklahoma City and grew up in Gainesville, Ga. She was retired from Sears Roebuck & Company. She was a loving wife, mother, Granny, sister, aunt, and friend. She will be deeply missed by all that knew her.
