Obituary for Sheila Bowen Brown
CORDELE — Funeral services for Sheila Bowen Brown, 60, will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, Sept. 16, 2019 at Cordele First Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Sunnyside Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 15, 2019.
Sheila died Friday, Sept. 13, 2019 at Crisp Regional Hospital. She was born in Vienna, Ga. to the late Ernestine Hill Bowen and the late Charles Elliott Bowen. She is also preceded in death by her mother-in-law: Faye Brown; her brother-in-law: Mike Davis, her sister-in-law: Debbie Brown Mims.
She was a secretary for Peebles Timber Company and was a member of Cordele First Baptist.
Sheila is survived by her husband: Dale Brown of Arabi, Ga.; her children: Benji Brown and Jeremy Brown both of Arabi and Lindsey Brown (Mike) McCarty of Cordele; her sisters: Diane B. Davis of Warner Robins and Gayle Bowen (Jerry) Barker of Fort Valley, Ga.; her grandchildren: Brantley Brown and Austin Arnett; her step-grandchild: Michael B. McCarty, father-in-law Marshall Brown and her furbaby, Biscuit.
