Obituary for Robert "Bob" LeMaster

Funeral services for Robert “Bob” LeMaster, 49, will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at Cordele First Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Sunnyside Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Family and friends are requested to honor Bob by wearing your game day attire of red and black.

As an organ, eye, and tissue donor, Bob's family would like to acknowledge that he gave the most precious gift anyone could give, the gift to improve and save the lives of his fellow man.

Bob was born in Toccoa, Ga. to Jane Richards Perkerson LeMaster and the late William Hoyt LeMaster. In additional to his father, Bob is preceded in death by his son, William Henry LeMaster, his maternal grandparents, Edgar John Perkerson, Jr. and Lucy Richards Perkerson, and his paternal grandparents, William Sims LeMaster and Edna Shockley LeMaster

A graduate of the University of Georgia, Bob was an Environmental Health Specialist V for the West Central Health District for the State of Georgia. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family. He was his daughter, Ansley’s, biggest playmate. He enjoyed attending and cheering for the Georgia Bulldogs. He was also a Baptist.

Bob is survived by his wife: Wendy Satterfield LeMaster of Cordele; his daughter: Ansley LeMaster of Cordele; his mother: Jane LeMaster of Athens; his brother: Andy LeMaster of Athens; his father-in-law: Billy Steve Satterfield of Navarre, Fla.; his mother-in-law: Barbara (John) Sherman of Greensboro, Ga.; his brother-in-law: Steven Satterfield of Washington D.C.; his sister-in-law: Teka (Jeff) Long of Atlanta and his nephews: Tyler Long and Ayden Long both of Atlanta.
