Obituary for Polly Gilliam Kastis
CORDELE — Polly Gilliam Kastis, 83, passed away Friday Feb. 7, 2020 at Crisp Regional Hospital. A celebration of her Life will be held at a later date.
Mrs. Kastis grew up in Cordele, Georgia and was the daughter of the late Lucille Thomason and the widow of the love of her life for 52 years, Tommy Kastis.
She spent her life working as a beautician for 34 years. She loved cooking and singing and taking care of her family. She was a wonderful wife, mother and most of all grandmother to her most cherished possession in her life, her grandson, Kasey Crumley.
She is survived by her daughter: Kayla Crumley and husband Mike of Cordele; her sisters: Doris Crumley and her husband Dwain of Cordele, Ruth Hayslip of Cordele and Ann Nipper and her husband Rev. Billy Nipper of Alto, Georgia; her grandson: Kasey Crumley of Cordele; and her step-son: Tommy Akins and family of Atlanta, Georgia.
Kayla would personally like to thank Matt Herndon, Gregg Mathis, and Darlene Moore for their extremely focused and phenomenal care they gave my mother during her sickness at Crisp Regional ICU.
