Obituary for Marlene Bivins
CORDELE – Graveside services for Marlene Bivins, will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 20, 2021 at Evergreen Memorial Gardens. Due to the Covid pandemic, seating is limited, masks are required, social distancing should be maintained.
Mrs. Bivins passed away Sunday, Jan. 17, 2021 at Crisp Regional Hospital. She was born in Pitts, Ga. to Robert and Annie Rooney Black McKenzie. She is preceded in death by her husband, Reuben Bivins, and several siblings.
She was a member of the Baptist faith. She was a lady that did not mind working in order to provide for her family. She also enjoyed spending her free time with family and gardening.
She is survived by her children: Wayne Aultman and Betty Head both of Cordele; her siblings: Ronald McKenzie and his wife Pat of Roanoke, Ala. and Laverne Ring of Cordele; her grandchildren: Shannon Cannon, Josh Wayne Aultman, Paul Head and Ashley Burnette; and her great-grandchildren: Gauge Burnette, Haley Stewart, Kelsi Cannon, Christian Head, Aubrey Cromer and Landon Head.
