CORDELE – Graveside funeral services for Loretta Brantley Taylor, 65, will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 6, 2021 at Sunnyside Cemetery. A private family visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, February 5, 2021 at Hughes and Wright Funeral Home. She passed away Tuesday at South Georgia Medical Center. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, seating is limited, masks are required, social distancing should be maintained.

Mrs. Taylor was born in Cordele, Georgia to the late James Hudson Brantley and Dorothy Cleo Arrighi Brantley. She is preceded in death by her husband, Mickey Keith Taylor and her sister Agnus Louise Davis. She is also preceded in death by her granddaughter: Raegan Holman. She is survived by her sons: Robert (Holly) Holman of Mooresville, NC, and Clayton Holman of Americus, Ga. Her daughters: Twila (Shannon) Sellers of Carrolton, Ga., Tammy Holman of Americus, Ga. and Melissa Mims of Americus, Ga. Her brothers: James Edward (Annette) Brantley of Hazelhurst, Ga. and James Edgar “Bubba” Brantley of Ellaville, Ga. Her sister: Delita (John) Grimsley of Ft. Valley Ga. She is also survived by 24 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
