Obituary: Leroy Duane Euard
CORDELE — Leroy Duane Euard, 74, loving husband and father of three children, passed Tuesday night, Jan. 28, 2020, at Crisp Regional Hospital.
Mr. Euard was born in Sharpsville, PA. to Merle Duane Euard and Josephine (Alfredo) Euard and was raised in Greenville, PA. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his brother, Duane Euard.
He spent his professional career in the precast industry working as a President for various companies in Ohio, New York, Pennsylvania and Georgia. He also sat on the Board of Directors for Spancrete Northeast, Inc. He was most recently the President of ConArt in Cobb, GA before his retirement. He attended Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY for his Executive MBA.
His greatest passion was his family. He was known for his kindness, generosity, his quick wit, intelligence and his ability to fix and task anything. He was an avid outdoors man and was known for his game of golf. He also achieved his black belt in Tae Kwon Do. He was lovingly nicknamed "Big Lee" by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his wife: Judy (King) Euard of Cordele; his children: Jennifer Monahogios (husband Emmanuel) of RI, Jacqueline Gedonius (husband Michael) of NJ and Christopher Euard of PA; his sister: Carol Euard of PA; and his grandchildren: Emmelia Kathryne, Thea Rae, Peyton Alexander and Lila Olivia Bella.
A memorial service will be held for family and friends at a later date.
