Obituary for Juanita Thompson (Walker)
CORDELE — Juanita Walker Thompson, 82, of Cordele died Saturday, Aug. 22, 2020, at Taylor Regional Hospital in Hawkinsville. In honoring Juanita’s wishes, there will be no services.
Mrs. Thompson was born in Crisp County, Ga. to the Sidney Walker and Myrtle Selph Walker. She is the widow of Willie Thomas Thompson. She was also preceded in death by her siblings: Grace Walker Johnson, Allene Walker Maddox and Conell Walker. She was retired from Best Manufacturing, formerly Cordele Uniform. She was a member of Northern Heights Baptist Church.
She is survived by her sisters: Marcene (Royce) Freeman of Cordele and Jonelle Wood of Cordele; her sister-in-law: Camille Dowell Walker of Cordele; and several nieces and nephews, including Ashley Tapp who had taken care of Juanita these past few months.
