I’m so sorry for your loss. If this can be comforting to you, just know that she is no longer suffering (Ecclesiastes 9:5) and now she, as well as others who have died, awaits the wonderful resurrection that Jehovah God has promised (Acts 24:15). I hope this message brings you comfort.

To Elaine's family, she did my hair for years, and always kept it looking great. She was always so sweet and was one of the first young hairdressers I had ever been to. We were the same age. May God continue to bless each of you. Linda Raper Calhoun

Dear Ann, Marie, David and all of the family. Elaine was a sweet and special person. I loved talking with her. We would meet up in the grocery store, Dollar Tree, wherever and spend time talking. The subject would just about always come around to my sister, Lewellyn. Elaine did my sister's hair for a number of years and she always told me what a good job Elaine did. I have to agree because it always looked beautiful. Sometimes Elaine would help the other hairdressers out by doing shampoos. I loved it when she shampooed my hair.. I often told her she was the best "shampooer" I had ever known. We would laugh and talk about many things and I really enjoyed her so much. I have missed her since she was no longer at the beauty shop and I will miss her very much in the days to come. God bless all of you and may sweet Elaine rest in peace.

My sincere condolences go out to Mrs. Stephens' family. I know you will sorely miss such a wonderful presence in your family. One thing you can gain comfort from, is the hope present in the bible that we can look forward to: “He will swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces.” (Isaiah 25:8) We also have the hope found in Luke 14:14, "For you will be repaid in the resurrection of the righteous ones." The resurrection this verse talks about will give us the opportunity to see our lost loved ones again on Earth. I know it will be a joyous time when you can reunite with Mrs. Stephens! I invite you to visit JW.ORG for more information on this comforting hope.

Ann, Mother wishes to let you know how sorry she was to hear of Elaine's passing. She was always so sweet to Aunt Euraline. We have fond memories of the two of you keeping Mother and Aunt Euraline beautiful. Our prayers are with you all.
