Obituary for Harold Monroe Bodrey
AMERICUS — Funeral services for Harold Monroe Bodrey, 77, will be held at 4 p.m., Sunday, October 11, 2020 Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Bodrey died at his residence Saturday morning, October 10, 2020. He was born in Crisp County to the late Lenard Bodrey and the late Beatrice Clark Bodrey. He is preceded in death by his wife: Mary Jane Fendley Bodrey; and his siblings: Barbara Millwood, Steve Bodrey, Clara Brown, Nadine Bodrey and Beverly Bodrey. He was a lifelong farmer with his brother, Johnny.
He is survived by his children: Monroe Bodrey of Americus and Amy (Chris) Barras of Greenville, S.C.; his siblings: Gene (Eloise) Bodrey of Cordele, Johnny (Linda) Bodrey of Americus, Mary Jane (Sam) Graham of Cordele, Denise (Jerry) Coffee of Athens, and Laverne Taylor of Alma; and his pride and joy, his grandchildren: Cole Barras, Bret Barras and Alex Barras.
