Obituary for Frankie White (Williams)
Frankie White, 82, of Cordele died early Monday morning, April 6, 2020, at Crisp Regional Nursing and Rehab. Memorial services will be held at a later date.
Mrs. White was born in Cordele, Ga. to Frank Williams and Rosa Chaney Williams. She is the widow of Alton White. She is also preceded in death by her siblings: Frances Stephens (her twin sister), Thelma Coleman, Cecil Williams, Albert Williams, John Williams and Paul Williams, Jr.
She was a retired seamstress for Cordele Uniform and an active member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church as long as her health permitted. She was also active at the Reginald Barry Jr. Senior Center. She was known for her enjoyment of being “on the go” and her love for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her sons: Charles White of Albany and Dennis White of Cordele; her sister: Faye Presley of Cordele; her brother: Ray Williams of Cordele; her grandchildren: Chris White, Carrie White Lang, Ed White, Howell White, Kathryn White and Whitney Layfield; and 11 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
