CORDELE — Frances Carol Chapa, 62, of Cordele died Thursday evening, April 30, 2020, at Crisp Regional Hospital. Services will be announced at a later date
Mrs. Chapa was born in Cordele, Ga. to the late Ruby Onell Gilbert Nipper and Herbert Earnest Nipper. She was co-owner of Chapa construction and was a member of Sharon Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening and her love for her family was first and foremost.
She is survived by her husband: Raul Chapa of Cordele; her son: Raul Shannon (Kathryn) Chapa of Cordele; her daughter: Wendy (Patrick) Matti of Virginia Beach, Va.; her step-daughters: Kristy (Sergio) Chapa and Yolonda (Santos) Salazar all of Ellaville, Ga.; her brother: Jerry Nipper of Cordele and seven grandchildren.
