Funeral services for Frances B. Cason, 86, will be at 2 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 8, 2019, at Third Street Baptist Church. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 7, 2019. Burial will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Cason died Tuesday evening, Sept. 3, 2019, at Crisp Regional Hospital. She was born in Rebecca, Ga. to Mary Hobby Brown and Steve Nickolas Brown. She is preceded in death by her husband Eddie B. Cason, her grandson, Nickolas Cason, and her sister, Angeline Brown Ulm. She was a retired case DFCS manager for the State of Georgia. She was a faithful member of Third Street Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday School and was very involved with the church.

She is survived by her son: Terry Lynn Cason, Sr. and his wife Jamie of Cordele; her brother: Willis Brown and his wife Diana of Acworth, Ga.; her grandchildren: Susan Cason Arnett and her husband Nick of Cordele and Terry Lynn Cason, Jr. of Lakeland, Ga.; and her five great-grandchildren: Preston Arnett, Olivia Arnett, Tanner Cason, Hunter Cason and Jana Cason, a niece Angela Ulm Counts.
