Obituary for Faye Brigman
CORDELE – Faye Brigman, 74, passed away early Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at her Crisp Regional Hospital. Graveside services will be held at 4 p.m., Sunday, April 11, at Sunnyside Cemetery. Burial will follow at Sunnyside Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Hughes & Wright Funeral Home from 3 p.m. Sunday until time to depart for the service. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, masks are recommended and social distancing should be maintained.
She was born in Cordele, Ga. to J. B. and Lynette Staines Black, who both precede her in death. She is also preceded in death by her two brothers, J. B. Black, Jr. and Wayne Black. She was a retired secretary and accountant for Hurt Motor Company for many years. She was a member of the New Covenant Church of Cordele.
She is survived by her boy: Ashton Black of Cordele; her nieces and nephews: Jamey Lynn Medders of Valdosta, James Payne of Sylvester, Dawne Black and her children Bell Scdoris and Abby Scdoris all of Cordele, Misty Medders of Cordele, and J. B. Black, III.
