Obituary for Elizabeth D. Wright (Durham)
CORDELE — Elizabeth D. Wright, 78, of Cordele died early Saturday morning, March 21, 2020, at Crisp Regional Nursing and Rehab. Family only graveside funeral services will be at 4 p.m., Monday, March 23, 2020, at Sunnyside Cemetery. There will be no visitation. The service will be live-streamed. Elizabeth was born in Rebecca, Ga. to the late Henry Durham and the late Irma Calhoun Durham. She was a retired bus driver with the Crisp County School System for 35 years. She was a member of the Third Street Baptist Church and The Daughters of the Confederacy. She enjoyed working puzzle books and loved her great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years: Sheppard S. Wright of Cordele; her children: Shawn Wright and Sandra Smith and her husband Bryan all of Cordele; her grandchildren: David Smith, Crystal Smith, Joseph Smith and Levi Wright; and her great-grandchildren: Shelby Wilson and Noah Wilson.
