Obituary for Charles R. Glover
Charles R. Glover, 72, of Cordele passed away Monday, Nov. 25, 2019, at Cordele Health and Rehab. Graveside funeral services will be at 1 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 30, 2019 at Sunnyside Cemetery with Rev. Rodney Chappell officiating.
Mr. Glover was born in Marietta, Ga. to the late James Bolan Glover, III and the late Prilla Rice Glover. He is preceded in death by a brother, John Wilder Glover. He was the retired president of Cordele Steel. He was a member of Pinecrest Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife: Patsy Glover of Cordele; his sons: Charles (Kimberly) Glover, II and Bryan (Jennifer) Clark both of Cordele and Terry (Michelle) Clark of Leesburg; his daughters: Stephanie Glover of Cordele and Julie Stemper of Powder Springs, Ga.; his siblings: James Bolan (Joan) Glover, IV, Jane Glover Hawkins and Prilla Glover Ottley all of Marietta; his 12 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
