Obituary for Carl Warren Stowe
CORDELE — Services for Carl Warren Stowe, 82, will be held Saturday, Nov. 28, 2020 at 3:30 p.m. in the chapel of Hughes & Wright Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 2:30 p.m. until the time of the service. Burial will follow at 3 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 29, 2020, at Resthaven Cemetery in Washington, Georgia.
Mr. Stowe was born in Campton, Georgia to Flora Mae Ann Ward Stowe and Marion Parks Stowe. He is also preceded in death by his siblings: Wallace (Chuck) Stowe, Harold Stowe and Linda Stowe Powell.
He was a retired Certified Public Accountant and owner of Carl Stowe Associates. He was an active member of Cordele First Baptist when his health permitted. He was a member of Delta Sigma Pi and the Salt Lick Coffee Club. He was a proud United States Navy Veteran and loved his family dearly.
He is survived by his wife: Pat Stowe of Cordele; his children: Warren Stowe and his wife Amy of Oklahoma City, Okla., Carla Adams and her husband Bob of Fort Valley, Ga. and Suzanne White and her husband Walt of Covington, Ga.; his grandchildren: Josh Stowe and his wife Taeghan, Hannah Stowe, Jared Stowe, Cameron White, Jonathan White and Matthew White; and his great-grandchildren: Jaicee Stowe and McKinley Stowe.
The family suggests that memorial contributions in Carl’s name be made to Reflections Hospice, 202 East Fourth Ave., Cordele, GA 31015.
