Obituary for Billy Murriel Jones, Sr.
CORDELE – A memorial service for Billy Jones, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 31, 2020 in the chapel of Hughes & Wright Funeral Home.
Mr. Jones, 71, of Vienna died Monday evening Dec. 28, 2020 at Crisp Regional Hospital. He was the son of the late Ruel Loren Jones and the late Bertha Mae Scott Jones. He was a native of Cordele, Ga. and a retired construction worker.
He is survived by his wife: Annie Jones of Vienna; his sons: Billy Jones, Jr. of Vienna; and Mark (Crystal) McKinsey of Vienna, his daughters: Dorinda (Billy) Nipper of Cordele and Christy (Randy) Bates of Moultrie; sisters: Joann (Donald) Forsythe of Vienna, Nellie Jones of Cordele and Kathleen Gibbs of Albany; several grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
