POULAN, GA — Betty L. Odom, 80, of Poulan, formerly of Cordele, died Tuesday, April 28, 2020, at her residence. Due to the COVID 19 pandemic and governmental restrictions, the family will have a private graveside service.

Mrs. Odom was born in Pitts, Ga. to the late Thelma Geneva Cantrell and the late Floyd Lance Lawson. She was a member of Terrell Baptist Church and homemaker. She was retired from child care with both Cordele First Baptist and Cordele First Methodist. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading, cooking and traveling.

She is survived by her husband: O. W. Odom of Poulan, Ga.; her children: Danny and Heather and their children Jason and Drew, Debbie and Chris and their children Lawson, Ross and Jake, and Pam and her children Peyton, Luke and Christian.
