Funeral services for Edna Clements, 79, will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, June 7, 2014 in the chapel of Hughes & Wright Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Cedar Creek Cemetery. Visitation for Mrs. Clements will be Friday, June 6, 2014 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Hughes and Wright Funeral Home.

Mrs. Clements died Thursday, June 5, 2014, at her residence in Cordele. She was born in Hawkinsville, Georgia to the late Herman Dupree and the late Ila Mae Young. She is preceded in death by her brothers: Clyde Dupree and Edward Dupree. Mrs. Clements was a homemaker and enjoyed hunting, fishing and quilting.

Mrs. Clements is survived by her husband Bobby Clements of Cordele, Ga.; children: Barbara Boland and her husband Raymond of Wenona, Ga., Roy Clements of Cordele, Ga. and Ricky Clements and his wife Gail of Vienna, Ga.; grandchildren: Wesley Herrington, Tonya Herrington Reid, Erika Ward, Katelyn Clements and Cody Clements; great-grandchildren: Kory Herrington, Casey Herrington, Steven Reid, Daniel Reid, William Reid, Emily Ward, Lauren Ward and Thomas Ward.
