Funeral services for Milton Forehand, 76, will be in the chapel of Hughes & Wright Funeral Home at 2 p.m., Friday, Nov. 9, 2018. The family will receive friends 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 8, 2018 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Sunnyside Cemetery. Mr. Forehand died Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2018 at Crisp Regional Hospital.

Mr. Forehand was born in Crisp County, Ga. to Eddie Forehand and Elma Stephens Forehand. He is preceded in death by a son, Rodney Forehand, and his siblings: William Forehand, Jack Forehand, Roger Forehand, Billy Forehand, J.L. Forehand, Frances Satterfield, Margaret Marsh and Janice Carroll.

He was a retired heavy machinery millwright for Millwright Local 1263. He was a member of Hatley Baptist Church and enjoyed golfing when he was able. He loved the outdoors and especially animals.

He is survived by his wife: Nancy S. Forehand of Cordele; his children: Randy Forehand and Lamar Forehand both of Cordele and Annette (Keith) Patrick of Commerce, Ga.; his grandchildren: Dustin (Ashley) Patrick, Angie Patrick, April (Justin) Shofner, Bryan Forehand and Randell (Shelby) Forehand; and his great-grandchildren: Tucker Patrick, Bryce Patrick, Patrick Pierson, Chase Pierson, Tori Lynn Shofner and Strider Forehand.
