Funeral services for Judy Whittle Daly, 68, will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, Oct. 19, 2018 in the chapel of Hughes & Wright Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., Thursday, October 18, 2018 at the funeral home. The family may be contacted at 40 Georgia Pines Road, Vienna, Ga. Judy passed away early Saturday morning, Oct. 13, 2018 at Navicent Health Center in Macon, Ga.

She was born in Cordele, Ga. to Ben David Whittle and Addie Pearl Waters Whittle. She is preceded in death by her siblings: Kate Whittle Hunter, Martha Whittle, Elizabeth Chastain and James Earl Whittle.

Judy was a member of Mount Vernon Baptist Church in Lilly, Ga.. She enjoyed gardening and her flowers. She was affectionately known as “Mama J” to her day care and foster children. Her grandchildren held a special place in her heart.

She is survived by her children: Brad McGlamory of Cordele, Teresa (Lewis) Nobles and Angie (Joe Joe) Wright all of Cordele; her siblings: Billy (Marolyn) Whittle, Nedra (Heywood) Gill and Bonnie Whittle all of Cordele; her brother-in-law: Mike Hunter of Cordele; and her grandchildren: Sgt. Cody (Brittany) Nobles, Cpl. Matt Wright, Sgt. John Wright, Bradley McGlamory and Brianna (David) Hidalgo.
