Funeral services for Alma Jones Nipper, 95, will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, April 3, 2018 from the graveside at Sunnyside Cemetery. Rev. Billy Nipper will officiate the service. Mrs. Nipper died Saturday, March 31, 2018, at Cordele Health and Rehab.

Mrs. Nipper was born in Cordele to James Coney Jones and Minnie Burge Jones. She is the widow of LeRoy Nipper. She is preceded in death by her children: Don Nipper, Bobby Nipper, Patty Nipper and Ronnie Nipper. She was a homemaker and member of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by her siblings Ed Jones of New Jersey and Gladys Fennell of Cordele, six grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
