Condolence: It has been a full week now and I still can't believe this has really happened! Paula Faye and Lisa, you have stood strong and you have helped the rest of us get through this week... Your faith in God has brought you through an unbelievable, horrible week. I really cannot imagine how someone who does not have faith in God can ever survive such an experience. I can't do it without tears, but I KNOW God is still in control and that He makes no mistakes.
Rusty had a heart of gold. He loved us all! But, of course, no love compared to his love for his wife, Lisa; his boys--Russell and Remington; and his mother, Paula Faye. Rusty and my daddy, Uncle James, had a very special relationship! But then, Rusty had a very special relationship with each and every one of us. Rusty brought so much love to all of us. I am reminded of
Dana's comment about her best friend in Douglas, GA when she gave a eulogy at her friend's funeral. She said "Doris was too good for this world. She was just put here for a short time to show the rest of us 'how to live'." So perhaps that was Rusty's purpose in life--"to show the rest of us 'how to live' our lives and how to reach out to others and love each other as God would have us do". We will all miss our dear friend, cousin, uncle, husband, nephew, dad, son-- Rusty, but I thank God for the memories we all have. May God go with you every step of the way and fill your hearts with His Peace! I love all of you more than you know! Kay
