Condolence: If I had stayed in Cordele to graduate at Crisp Academy, Sara Ingram would have been my STAR teacher, but I went off to boarding school and couldn't be the STAR student! I'm not sure if anyone ever named her STAR teacher, but she was mine! She knew my understanding of math and let me do things and move further ahead with my talents than I would have been able to do otherwise in such a quaint setting. When I was in my mid 20's, I had a little too much champagne at a weeding reception and asked her how I ranked among all her students. She said she had 3 that stood out: her son Mark, Mark's classmate, Chip, and me. That response touched me deeply and is one I will never forget. Cheers to Mrs. Ingram! My thoughts and prayers are with her children and extended family. Your mother was one of the most intelligent people ever in Cordele. Thanks be to God for Sara M Ingram!
