Message to the Family: Sara Dean Alford was a beautiful and accomplished lady whom I had the privilege of knowing for many years. She was a loving mother, a remarkable teacher, and a wonderful friend. I will miss her perpetually positive and upbeat outlook on life. Even during her most difficult times, she always had a smile and/or a funny story to share. She was a wonderful role model for her children and pretty much every human being. God bless you, sweet Sara. I know you are wearing your well-deserved crown.
